Basecrete is a proprietary waterproof bondcoat system for use in all applications where a solid and durable waterproof barrier is required. Basecrete will adhere to most surfaces, is resistant to most chemicals and corrosive agents and can withstand a high degree of movement while maintaining its integrity. Application is simple with two step roll-on finishing. One swipe up and one swipe sideways to provide the ultimate water and chemical barrier for any concrete surface.

Basecrete came highly recommended by our Pool Builder “Blue Diamond Pools” in Shanty Bay, Ontario, Canada. In Ontario this year and last year we had days where the temperature started at -20 degrees C and the very next day the temperature was +10 degrees C. I was skeptical at first doing a concrete pool in Canada, but having Basecrete as an added layer of protection has helped ease my mind. We built 2 retaining walls out of ICF blocks and basecrete was recommended to us as a stucco alternative. It ended up being comparable in material cost to stucco but so much faster and easy enough that we did it ourselves saving the cost of install associated with stucco.
